When and how do we process personal data?

Your privacy is important and we want to respect and protect it. Therefore, MaiMentor does not process or store more personal data than necessary and never without informing you.

Personal data is all information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a living person. For example, name, email, telephone number and pictures. In order to conduct our business, develop our programs and communicate our work, we need to process personal data.

The information is collected when you:

  • participate in a mentoring program
  • volunteer
  • become a member
  • donate money
  • subscribe to newsletters
  • contact us

Security

There is always a risk in providing your personal data and no systems are completely protected from intrusion. However, MaiMentor has taken technical security measures to protect personal data against improper access, alteration and destruction.

Storage Period

We retain your personal data for as long as it is needed to perform the activity for which it was provided. For as long as stated for each category in the privacy policy.

Third Parties

In order to conduct our business and send out information, we may share your personal data with third parties. These may only process the data on our behalf and in accordance with our explicit instructions.
